Maintenance Assistant required for an immediate start!
Location: Bodmin, Cornwall
Length: 3 months, temporary on-going
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri
Main responsibilities of the role
* Main responsibility of the role is to perform general maintenance across a large commercial site to ensure business and usual service is provided
* Ensure that all works are carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations
* From time to time you will undertake routine maintenance duties without direct supervision to include electrical works, changing lamps, cleaning diffusers, unblocking sinks, small repairs on windows and doors, general labouring, cleaning and maintenance duties
* Assist estates staff at all levels with technical works and technical problem solving
* Use own initiative to carry out works required
Essential requirements:
* You will have experience working within a similar environment carrying out general maintenance and repairs
* Ability to start at short notice
