Job Description:
Court of Protection Solicitor London (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity within a reputable firm for a experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a variety of Court of Protection matters, encompassing tasks such as handling applications for deputyship, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings.
* Offer specialised guidance and representation to clients, ensuring their interests are safeguarded throughout the legal process.
* Conduct thorough legal research and maintain organized case files, adhering to relevant legal requirements and deadlines.
* Stay informed about relevant legislative changes
Key Requirements:
* Able to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
* Strong client relationship management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Deep understanding of relevant laws, case precedents and procedures. Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and associated legislation
