The One Group have partnered with a globally renowned group based in Peterborough, who are looking for an ambitious Assistant Financial Accountant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role would directly report into the Financial Controller which means the exposure will be huge.

This opportunity is tailor made for someone who is actively studying and has an interest in internal controls and data analysis and manipulation.

Responsibilities:
* Delivering timely forecast and budgets for the group
* Foreign currency & data driven reporting
* Lead the balance sheet recs
* Be a key contact for internal and external audit requirements
* Manage the quarterly SOX processes
* Continuous improvement of reporting and control processes
* Manage the group annual controls reporting

A driven, hard working and self motivated manner is essential to be successful within the role, and some experience of audit & controls is desired but not essential.
