Job Description:
A global, listed transport and logistics business based in London is currently seeking an FP&A Manager to join their fast-paced team.

The role is newly created due to growth and for succession planning and will lead of financial and business planning and management of a small team. Responsibilities include:
* Taking lead on the business plan process
* Establish business planning timetable for management review, working closely with the leadership team.
* Managing the investment process including the capex reporting and planning.
* Lead the financial support in maintaining a tracking framework to ensure strategic projects achieve their financial objectives.
* Analysing and interpreting the financial position of Strategic Projects.
* Manage the tracking of the benefits and cost of initiatives.
* Provide business insight and robust challenge to support key business decisions through regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
* Support the preparation of Board paper, presentation to Management Committee and other reports.
* Direct and produce market, strategy, and initiative insight and develop scenario planning.
* Promote and support change by delivering on process improvements, automation, and standardization.
* Partner with the wider finance team to be continuously monitoring internal processes and provide support to FP&A deliverables as required.
* Adhere to all corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements and standards.
* Actively build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels across the brands in the group.
* Training, development and coaching of junior staff - managing three direct reports.
* Provide support in ad hoc projects and complex data analysis to support decision making.
This role is best suited to a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret financial and business data in an efficient manner. Candidates must be proactive and take initiative to explore issues and to generate new ideas and approaches. Candidates must have strong business partnering skills, be flexible in their approach and ability to influence, collaborate and build relationships across global cultures. This role is managing three direct reports, so requires someone with prior team management experience.
