Due to continual growth and new work at a leading Tier 1 firm an opportunity to join this award-winning Court of Protection team (property & financial issues) in Manchester, as a file handler (minimum 1 year of experience).
The CoP team is ranked in both UK Chambers and Legal 500 as a top firm for CoP and is regarded, as one of the biggest, most specialised, and diverse teams in the country. 
The team consists of four deputies including, an OPG Panel deputy specialising in cross-border, financial abuse, and local authority deputyships and deputyships for children and adults with multi-million-pound, personal injury/clinical negligence compensation awards.
As a file handler you will be running a varied caseload of deputyships either arising from personal injury or clinical negligence claims (pre- and post-settlement) and/or deputyships from the OPG panel and local authority. With this position comes personal development and progression, as well as gaining exposure to highly varied, interesting, and complex CoP work.
About you:
* At least 12 months’ experience in CoP.
* Experience as a file handler.
* (Grade C or D work, depending on your experience).
