A high growth luxury retail business is looking to hire a Finance Manager. Due to a period of change, this role will be involved in various projects driving process improvements, systems implementations, and building more robust controls across the department. Reporting to the Head of Finance, they are seeking a Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day finance operations.
As a Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
* Involved in improvement projects: including the implementation of a new ERP system.
* Managing the day to day finance operations including month end close & balance sheet reconciliation.
* Responsible for the preparation of financial statements
* Responsible for analysing financial performance, producing commentary and understanding what this means to the business in terms of opportunities and risks
* 1 Direct Report
The ideal candidate:
* Big 4 Qualified/ Top 10 qualified (essential)
* On a short notice
* Retail/ Consumer experience, or within a high growth business (essential)
* 2-3 years industry experience (essential)
* Strong technical background (essential)
