We are working with one of our clients to find a Purchase Ledger to start immediately to sickness, you must have previous experience and the ability to hit the ground running!. . Duties of the Purchase Ledger:. . * To match and post supplier invoices onto system . * Electronically invoice match to appropriate purchase orders and stock receipts . * Processing payments to suppliers in accordance with agreed terms . * Ensure all supplier statements are reconciled and queries are dealt with in the appropriate manner . * Processing payment of employee expense claims once appropriately approved . * Maintaining the creditors ledger, allocating payments, and reconciling suppliers’ statements . * Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger . * Point of contact for purchase ledger queries, investigating and raising supplier issues . * Escalating purchase ledger queries if unable to resolve . * Communicate efficiently and effectively with other departments, senior members of the organisation, customers, and suppliers . * Dealing with supplier phone calls, chasing for payments, and resolving queries / issues . * Maintain purchase ledger administration functions, including filing of invoices and statements . * Working with the purchase ledger Supervisor to produce reports . .
