Project Lead
Location: South East
Pay rate: £500 per day
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in South East to assist with the appointment of a Project Lead on a temporary contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. The Adult Social Care Directorate is looking for a Project Lead to provide professional advice, guidance and direct support to enable the successful delivery of the Assurance Programme with key focus on modernisation/improvement projects and programmes.
Tasks include critically analysing and balancing dimensions of quality, timescales, and budget in addition to collaborating creatively with team members, delivery partners and stakeholders to develop solutions that deliver optimal outcomes. The work of this Project Manager is integral to ensuring that their ambition is effectively delivered. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Transformation.
The Ideal Candidate will have;
* Effective co-ordination and project / programme management support for the Resident and Staff Engagement Programme
* Promotion of the use of effective project and programme management techniques across the council.
* Professional advice, guidance and direct support to enable the successful delivery of key service focused transformation/improvement projects and programmes.
* Provides an interface between the programmes and the Service Directorates.
* The role includes supporting project board meetings for Resident and Staff Engagement and other programmes, working closely with senior sponsors.
* The Adult Social Care Directorate is looking for a Project Manager to provide professional advice, guidance and direct support to enable the successful delivery of the Assurance Programme with key focus on modernisation/improvement projects and programmes.
* Education to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience.
