Senior Finance Manager
Based: Blackburn

Our client is a rapidly expanding service & retail business based in Blackburn. Having experienced huge growth since their inception 20 years ago, they are now a market-leader in their industry based from state of the art offices in the Lancashire area. Due to continued growth, we are looking for strong Senior Finance Manager to join the team. This role will have some line management responsibility whilst being responsible for overseeing end to end finance operations, FP&A, balance sheet reconciliations and identifying opportunities to improve controls
Role:
* Monitoring day to day finance operations for the business
* Reviewing financial data, preparing monthly and annual reports providing key points and recommendations
* Collaborating with senior stakeholders, wider business departments where required
* Providing data-backed recommendations to support decision making
* Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are prepared monthly, all correct and differences investigated
* Seeking out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
* Involved in the year-end audit process
* Undertaking project work involved in the delivery of new projects across automation, system, processes and more
* Overseeing and producing monthly board pack and P&L account
Experience:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified OR strong QBE
* Ability to adapt and respond in busy environments
* Strong excel skills and proven experience in a Finance Manager role
* Ambitious, self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
