Job Description:
Interim Procurement Project Manager
Location: London Local Authority, 1 day per week on site
Length: 3 months (Possibility of extension)
IR35 Status: Inside
The Procurement Project Manager will support the Category Manager taking projects from initiation through to contract implementation, and have responsibility for maximising savings and efficiencies from goods and services.
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Procurement Project Manager:
* Previous experience of procuring services across Estates, Repairs, Housing
* Leading the delivery of complex public sector (or similar) procurement projects, mainly through tendering, to deliver savings against demanding timescales
* Experience of working effectively with a range of professionals in service areas, demonstrating excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrable previous experience of working with PCR2015
* Experience of running tenders in a compliant manner from cradle to grave (Open, Restricted processes)
* Experience of using frameworks for mini-competitions via frameworks
* CIPS qualified
