Adolescent Assistant Intervention Worker

£15.50 per hour umbrella
Contract (3 months+)
The Role:
The post holder will work co-productively with families to improve relationships and enable young people to remain living within their family home.
They will be working with young people across Cardiff at their homes and at our client’s centres at a time of need delivering positive outcomes.
They will provide structured, evidence-based interventions enabling families to develop problem solving skills, resilience and achieve positive change.
The team will provide a rapid response to children and families in crisis, enabling them to address and overcome the difficulties that have led to the family being at risk of breakdown, and prevent further escalation.
The Candidate:
* You will have some experience of working with adolescents who present with challenging behaviour.
* You will have experience in working with carers and as part of a wider team.
* You will be working flexibly that includes some evenings and weekends.
* Driving license and full use of a car is essential.
