Joining a dynamic legal team, renowned for its expertise in maritime and shipping law, this firm offers robust legal support to global clients, and due to recent growth, is seeking an ambitious solicitor to join the expanding Shipping team in Edinburgh. 
You will advise clients on maritime and shipping matters, developing expertise in shipping law and contributing to the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic legal advice to domestic and international clients
* Handle transactional, advisory, and complex shipping disputes
* Advise on regulatory compliance related to maritime law
* Draft, review, and negotiate shipping contracts
* Benefit from professional development and mentorship

Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified to practice law in Scotland with 0-3 years’ PQE in shipping law or related fields
* Strong academic record with a law degree
* Interest and understanding of the shipping industry
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
