I am looking to speak with Corporate Solicitors in Manchester with 2-5 years PQE. I have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and dynamic Corporate Solicitor to work alongside corporate partners on high-profile transactions and to develop their career with a leading law firm. 

The Team: 

The firm’s Corporate department is renowned for providing practical and expert advice on all aspects of buying, selling, structuring, and investing in businesses. The team consists of 5 partners who work closely with specialists across their other commercial teams to deliver a comprehensive service. This collaborative approach ensures that their clients receive the best possible advice and support, and it offers their solicitors a varied and stimulating workload.

The Role:
* Transactional Expertise: Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions, representing both buyers and sellers in share and asset sales/purchases.
* Private Equity: Proficiency in handling private equity transactions.
* Deal Management: Ability to independently manage transactions, including:
* Drafting and negotiating heads of terms, asset/share purchase agreements, and disclosure letters.
* Overseeing the disclosure process, responding to due diligence requests, and preparing due diligence reports.
* Drafting ancillary documents and managing deals through to exchange and completion.
* Handling post-completion matters.
* Client Interaction: Confidence in dealing directly with clients.
* Team Supervision: Capability to supervise trainees and newly qualified (NQ) solicitors.
* Business Development: A strong enthusiasm for business development is highly desirable.
