Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Midwives to join our Community Midwifery teams caring for women and families at one of the Trusts in South East England. This role will involve working as part of our team of dedicated and enthusiastic Community Midwives delivering exceptional maternity care in a range of community settings.
Description:
It is an exciting time for our service, and we would love you to join our team of midwives and help us to shape our services to support women’s choice in place of birth. You will need to have completed a preceptorship programme and have achieved Midwifery competencies such as cannulation, water birth, and suturing. We operate an on-call system for community midwifery which you must participate in. Each community team is supported by an experienced lead and works closely with the stand-alone Birth Centers in the area, so there is an opportunity to gain experience in these environments too.
Skills & Experience:
* Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents with awareness of implications to service provision.
* Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development.
* Ability to work within acute and primary health care settings.
* Previous community and hospital experience.
* Ability to use flexible innovative approaches to practice tailored to meet the clients’ individual needs.
* Knowledge of change management theories and their impact.
