Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a highly reputable business in Felixstowe.
This role is part of the senior leadership team so offers fantastic exposures across the business.
Key responsibilities
* Managing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
* Coaching and mentoring a small team
* Reviewing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance to IFRS
* Handling the financial consolidation process including relevant reporting requirements
* Responsible for VAT, ensuring compliance to various legislations
* To be responsible for corporation tax aspects
Key skills:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant Financial Accounting experience
* Managing key stakeholder relationships
* Excellent communication skills
* Lead through change effectively with clear goals and outcomes
* Managing a team in a mentoring capacity
