About the Role

Base Location: Reading 
Salary: £47,600 - £71,600 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: 15 month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The SSEN-Distribution business is undergoing a significant period of change, including a large-scale transformation programme known as The Bridge Programme. The Bridge Programme aims to ’rewire’ the entire end-to-end business to transform Distribution into a customer-centric, digitally-enabled, industry leader.
As Business Design and Change Manager, you will play a key role supporting the Senior Delivery Lead, driving all change related activity and process design while maintaining the integrity of the Blueprint.
You will manage Business Analysts and support the overall change activities, ensuring consistent and standardised process design is a key responsibility. Reporting progress and aligning change activities with overall program timelines will be essential parts of your role. Your influence and knowledge will guide your team’s performance, contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supporting the Business Analysts
- Regularly reporting progress updates to the Senior Delivery Lead.
- Communicating with the BI Change Lead to ensure alignment with program timelines.
- Aligning with the BI Business Design Lead for consistent guidance and frameworks.
- Overseeing UAT testers, data analysts, and organization design support efforts and incorporating insights from BPOs and SMEs into business change initiatives.
What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Deep expertise in Process Design and Improvement including an understanding of typical process features such as taxonomies and maps
- Deep expertise in change management approaches and all of the standard change features
-  Understanding and practical application of continuous improvement methodologies within a similar sized organisation structure.
- Excellent Stakeholder and Team Management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
