Job duties:. * Being accountable for delivering a high quality of service provision, incorporating care, welfare, safety and security of all children and young people in their care in order for them to achieve a secure base in which to flourish.. * Supporting, leading and managing a team of staff who will provide protection and support the children and young people with their physical, psychological, emotional and social development.. * Managing the home on a day-to-day basis, ensuring it is meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements.. * Develop and implement care plans for children in accordance with regulatory standards.. * Supervise and lead a team of caregivers to provide high-quality care.. * Coordinate activities and programs to promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.. * Maintain accurate records of children’s health, progress, and any incidents.. * Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.. . Experience:. * Experience of working in a managerial role within a children’s residential setting (2 years is preferrable).. * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.. .
