Base Location: Slough
Salary: £41,583 - £48,296 + car / cash allowance + “London weighting allowance” + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available - hybrid working
We are looking for a General Enquiries Planner to join our team!
As a General Enquiries Planner, you will be responsible for the planning of general enquiries work within the region.
You will ensure all enquiries are resolved within the required time frame to meet customer demand.
Our aim is to create a more efficient and sustained workforce that is resourced effectively, with our customers at the forefront of our mindset.
Other roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Creation of job packs, tailored specifically to the proposed task on site.
* Undertaking site visits for height assessments, customer meetings, cable traces and other requirements. This could involve giving technical guidance for customers proposing building in the proximity of the Network.
* Planning of low voltage and high voltage shutdowns, by liaising with customers to ensure the duration is correct, checking the Network to notify affected customers.
* Providing accurate quotes for chargeable jobs and re-quote if required.
* Responsible for having an overview of the upcoming planned work to drive efficiency by reducing mileage and keeping job timings as accurate as possible.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
* Knowledge and understanding of the UK regulated environment, particularly licence obligations and price control targets for electricity distribution.
* Sound business and technical knowledge of electricity distribution or similar market sector with an appreciation of unit cost / financial awareness.
* Relevant operational / technical experience & knowledge with comprehensive knowledge of NRSWA, SROH and RIGS.
* IT skills to effectively analyse performance data to influence decisions.
* Ability and knowledge to engage at all levels and instil a high performing culture.
