Part Time Finance Assistant
12-16 hours per week, £12.30ph
Harrogate, hybrid working
Do you have a general accounts/bookkeeping background? Do you have experience of working with Xero?
Our client located I the centre of Harrogate is looking for an experience finance assistant to assist with their accounts. Working on Xero you will be dealing with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, allocating payments and general banking duties.
Skills Required:
* Experience with Xero is essential
* Previous bookkeeping experience
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to work on your own initiative
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchase Ledger
* Processing and logging Staff expenses
* Dealing with VAT Claims
* Checking salary details
* Prepare and post monthly PAYE journal
* Sales Ledger
* Credit Control
* Chasing customer remittance advices
* Allocating payments to customer accounts
* Processing buying and selling of dollars on the system
* Pay PAYE to HMRC
* Month end reconciliation
