Marks Sattin have been engaged by a globally renowned research organisation to find a Senior Finance Business Partner that will assist with upcoming projects within the team. This role is suitable for a qualified Accountant who is seeking a commercial role where you will act as a key advisor to senior leadership teams across this organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Business partner with key stakeholders in specific areas of the organisation
* Financial analysis and commercial insights to improve the quality of decisions
* Ensure design and delivery of insightful, relevant, business and financial reporting
* Planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Develop project plans, with suitable budgets, milestones and deliverables
* Review and undertake financial due diligence on various projects
* Ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place
* Identify and contribute to process improvements
* Act as a coach / mentor to junior members of the team
Successful Candidate
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA or relevant qualification
* A background in a core accounting role
* Experience dealing with senior stakeholders
* Advanced Excel skills
* Available at short notice
