As a billing assistant, you will play a key role within the firm’s Accounting & Finance team, supporting in all aspects of the billing process. . . The role is full-time and allows for hybrid working. There may be occasional travel required to the firm’s London office.. . Role duties:. - Processing Accounts Receivable write offs and WIP. - Performing the finalisation of invoices in-line with internal/ external regulation and legislation (e.g. VAT, Criminal Finances Act, AML and Solicitor’s Accounts Rules). - Providing support to the Manager, Billing & Client Account Liaison, E-billing/ Billing Coordinators and processing any other ad-hoc requests. - Generating invoices and responding to queries in a timely manner. - Processing narrative edits to timecards and time/costs transfers as required. Key skills:. - Experience in the use of financial systems. - Strong numerical skills. - Experience within a professional services environment. - Confident communicator across all levels of an organisation. - Ability to effectively manage your own workload, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
