Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be part of a dedicated team and oversee two finance assistants.. . You will identify and address the needs of new and existing customers, fostering success through effective communication with clients and internal team members. Your role will involve cross-functional collaboration to ensure client satisfaction.. . Duties and Responsibilities:. - Monitor daily financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and transactions.. - Oversee financial department employees, including finance assistants and accountants.. - Contract external services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs.. - Track financial performance and identify areas for improvement.. - Research and analyse financial reports and market trends.. - Provide insights and expectations to senior executives for decision-making.. - Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.. - Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients.. - Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.. - Support HMRC reviews and provide ad hoc tax advice internally and externally.. .
