Adele Carr Recruitment is supporting a prestigious organisation on the Wirral in their search for two Interim Senior Accountants.
These roles are crucial for providing cover during a busy period, with a strong possibility of transitioning to permanent positions after six months. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in producing financial accounts and business partnering.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support the Financial Controller with month-end processes, financial reporting, and analysis.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
* Manage stakeholder relationships and business partner with various non-finance budget holders.
* Handle tax and VAT matters.
* Improve internal controls and processes.
* Undertake ad hoc reporting as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Availability: Must be immediately available to start and commit to the 6-month term.
* Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA).
* Key Attributes: * Proactive and self-motivated.
* Adaptable and able to identify and address issues before they arise.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage and influence others.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
