Exciting job opportunity for a Nurture Teacher to work with KS4 pupils with complex needs at one of our schools in the Mitcham area.. Position: Nurture Teacher. Location: Mitcham area. Contract: Full-time, on-site at one of our complex needs schools. Key Stage: Primarily KS4. Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (to be confirmed). Salary: Paid according to teaching scale (£180 - £240 per day). Roles and Responsibilities:. * Develop and implement nurturing strategies to support the social and emotional needs of KS4 pupils with complex needs. * Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students, focusing on academic and personal development. * Create a safe and inclusive learning environment conducive to positive behaviour management. * Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and support staff to ensure the holistic development of students. * Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and achievements. * Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities as required. Requirements:. * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Experience or willingness to work with students with behaviour difficulties and complex needs. * Understanding of SEN, particularly complex needs. * Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
