Addictions Support worker role. . Position: Lead Practitioner. . Location: Edinburgh. . Salary: £23000-£28000. . Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent. . As the Lead Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the quality of our addiction services. You will provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to our team of practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-standard care and effective treatment plans tailored to the needs of our clients.. . Key Responsibilities:. * Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of practitioners, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.. * Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring they are personalized and goal-oriented.. * Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide direct clinical interventions to individuals with substance use disorders.. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.. * Liaise with external agencies, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care.. * Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in addiction treatment and incorporate them into service delivery.. * Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.. * Participate in training, workshops, and continuous professional development activities.. . . Qualifications and Experience:. * Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field.. * Professional registration with a relevant regulatory body.. * Extensive experience in addiction services, with a strong understanding of substance use disorders and recovery models.. * Proven track record of clinical leadership and team management.. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.. * Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and external stakeholders.. * Commitment to providing compassionate and client-centered care.. .
