The role
Tradebe are seeking a Transport co-ordinator, £26K - £31K depending on experience.
Monday to Friday operation
Based at our Knowsley depot
Reporting to the Transport Operations Supervisor;
2 weekly rota with the Transport operations Supervisor
6am - 3pm week 1
8am - 5pm week 2
Duties to include.
* Scheduling loads via emails and phone calls
* Liaising with customer services, account managers, sales, operations team to ensure smooth deliveries and collections
* Driver debriefing
* Problem-solving
* Quoting transport rates
* Managing driver cover for holidays
* Attending planning and morning meetings
* Arranging vehicles in for service, MOTs

* Experience in transport planning/co-ordinating
* Computer skills
* Good communicator

Desirable skills
* Experience of waste and carriage of dangerous goods
* Experience in transport planning
* Advantageous qualifications
* ADR
* HGV Licence
