Search are currently looking for Band 6/7 Diabetes Nurses to work within a team based in Ormskirk.. . The team need support for 4-5 days a week, 09:00-17:00. Main duties * Management of own workload, responding to urgent clinical/service needs across locality and liaising with colleagues as required.. * To contribute to specialist protocols and policies for diabetes.. * Assess, plan and implement specialist nursing care programs. This may be for individual patients or for groups of patients.. * Responsible for providing specialist nursing care to patients with complex needs, e.g., those patients requiring insulin therapy.. . .
