Job Description:
Zest Optical are partnered with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Service Manager for the UK & Ireland into their senior leadership team.
The business is well-established as one of the leading manufacturers of smart and efficient instruments and technologies in the optical industry, and your role will take on full responsibility for 3 core areas with full P&L responsibility for the service division.
Service Manager - Role
* Take full P&L responsibility for the UK & Irish service department
* Manage an outsourced service agreement with service partners
* Oversee internal service and support teams, including staff management and training
* Recruit service engineers and support staff
* Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, attend regular meetings, and ensure delivery of KPIs
* Attend regular meetings internal and external, with clients, service partners, staff and senior management team
Service Manager - Requirements
* Proven background in a service management or operations management role within the healthcare sector
* Possess a technical/IT qualification, ideally to degree level
* Be a technically focused Service Manager who is confident and articulate
* UK and oversea travel with overnight stays required at times
Service Manager - Package
* Base salary up to £70,000
* Bonus up to £20,000
