Job Description:
Our client has a vacancy for an enthusiastic individual with either a strong background in administration or a background in law, which would be advantageous but not essential, to join our friendly Social Housing Team in our Norwich office.
This is fantastic opportunity to make a real difference whilst developing your legal skills and knowledge. You will join a friendly, experienced, and mutually supportive team based in Norwich.
The role is offered as a six month fixed-term contract.
You can expect to gain experience in the following:
* Drafting correspondence, documents, and letters of advice to clients
* Drafting and completing basic legal documents and forms
* Liaising with clients by telephone and email
* Being able to take on administration tasks such as coordinating administration seminars.
* Assisting with the Team’s business development activities
* Being able to prepare document bundles for fee earners as required.
* To attend clients both in person and via telephone as requested by the fee earners.
* Being involved in the efficient management of client/matter files to include general filing, file opening, preparation of client care letters and terms and conditions, file closure and archiving.
* Taking messages about initial advice queries and passing these onto the relevant fee earner
* Attending meetings and taking notes
* Many more ad-hoc duties to give you the best well-rounded experience.
Requirements:
* Be able to undertake straightforward tasks as instructed.
* Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Be approachable, friendly, and able to work as part of a team.
* Be results focused and driven to deliver.
