We are working with a leading Membership Organisation to recruit for a Management Accountant on an interim contract that has the opportunity to go permanent. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and provide high quality support to key stakeholders and provide expert budgeting support.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Supporting with the production of monthly management accounts and providing commentary
* Supporting the month end process and close
* Building strong relationships with senior managers and budget holders
* Business partnering across various cost centres
* Explaining complex budgets to non-finance department heads
* Providing constructive challenge to hold budget holders to account for financial performance
* Preparing meaningful analysis, investigating variances from budgets, forecasts and actuals and commenting on key numbers
* Setting and managing the timetable for the production of phased budgets
* Consolidating departmental budgets and forecasts and producing reports for the Board
* Working with other Finance Business Partners to roll out management reports
* Assisting the Head of Management Accounts with year end processes
Ideal candidate profile:
* Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
* Prior experience working for a not for profit organisation
* Strong experience in data manipulation and working with large, complex data
* Experience in actuals, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels

Rate: £280 - £325 per day paid via Umbrella Company
Working hours: Hybrid (3 days on site / 2 days from home)
Working pattern: 35 hours a week
