Assistant Accountant role waiting to be filled
Venn Group have been approached by a Private Company, and would like to introduce the following available position
Position:          Assistant Accountant
Location:         Bradford
Salary:             £35,000-£38,000 DoE
Length:             6 Months
Hours:              37.5 hours p/week
The role will predominantly involve:
* Working closely with the Head of Finance and taking responsibility for the Purchase Ledger
* Logging and distribution of daily invoices, matching, coding, scanning, and posting invoices
* Matching stock invoices against GRN’s and investigating stock system variances
* Roll management accounts pack forward
* Monthly VAT return including VAT exemption calculations
* Assist with year-end and preparation of audit files
* Knowledge of Sage 200 system is desirable
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, and be available at short notice.
