Role responsibilities
* Maintain customer data files
* Produce finish product Specifications and safety data sheets
* Liaise with customers and provide them with requested information relating to food safety, legality and health aspects of customer products.
* Completion of Kosher and Halal product applications
* Assist with Pest Management Control for all sites.
* Assist with third party audits including BRC, Kosher, Halal, Organic, Sustainable programmes and customer audits.
Essential Experience / Qualifications
* Understand principles of HACCP, Food Safety and Allergen knowledge.
* Experience of BRC
* Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Specification role or in NPD or Technical function
* Built and maintained relationships with members of QA/NPD teams, Commercial, Senior Managers, Directors, Customers and suppliers
Desirable
* Degree inf Food Science or equivalent qualification
* Competent in Microsoft
* Experience of Hamilton Grant, SharePoint, Formul8 and Customer online systems.
* Knowledge of legislation pertinent to manufacturing preferably within the baking industry.
