Base Location:  Aberdeen, Perth or Glasgow.
Salary: £55,200-£83,000 (depending on skills and experience) + performance related bonus  + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
As Data Analytics Manager, you’ll lead the development and management of Data Analytics capabilities as part of Transmission’s larger Data & Analytics function (Architecture, Engineering, Product Mgmt. Automation and Reporting/Analytics/AI).
Key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Lead, manage and mentor members of the data reporting and analytics capability to deliver data reporting, analytics and AI use cases to the business community, projects and external stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders to develop requirements to identify appropriate analytics solutions, plan implementation activities and answer queries throughout the delivery and testing process.
- Work closely with our Data Architecture and Engineering capabilities to develop data designs.
- Collaborate with the Data & Analytics leadership team to plan, align product owner expectations, prioritise the backlog of use cases using an agile methodology.
- Work with the Data Product Manager to manage demand, facilitate communities of practice (CoP) to help improve the Business Unit’s data analytics skills and increase use of self-service tools (such as Power BI).
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Deep understanding and knowledge of data analytics project delivery, specifically, experience from a similar analytical or data role.
- Experience defining and leading the delivery of data analytics projects for complex systems in large organisations.
- Proven experience in influencing all levels in the use and benefits of data analytics.
- Experience in data visualisations and communicating the business narrative from data visualisations.
- Ability to work confidently with development, architecture and design teams and have a deep technical understanding of solution options and approaches.
- Awareness/understanding of the latest DevOps and Agile techniques and experience of advanced Analytics, Data Science and AI use cases.
