Assistant Client Advisor
Bexley
£15 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (6 months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking an Assistant Client Advisor in Bexley. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
* Face to face contact with residents seeking employment as the post holder assists with employer interviews, workshops and job clubs
* Support the client/business advisors to prepare adult job seekers to move into employment
* Deliver business employability workshops, support job search sessions, both on a one to one and group basis and work with colleagues in the business team
* Support and motivate clients in their job search activities providing assistance and information on vacancies
The candidate:
* Working in a recruitment or careers advisory environment having supported individuals to achieve employment goals using client action plans.
* Previous experience working in a career guidance capacity or similar is essential
* Previous experience working for a local authority is desirable
* A knowledge of the Welfare to Work benefits system is desirable
