Financial Reporting Manager | Cheshire (Hybrid) | £55,000 - £65,000 | Retail - High Growth!

Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with an exceptionally exciting e-commerce retailer in the South Manchester/Cheshire area who have created a new role in their team for an ACA/ACCA qualified 1st time or 2nd time mover practice.

This business have experienced 20-30% growth YoY with exciting plans to go through an IPO in early 2025, as a result they need to strengthen their Finance team with a technically strong accountant who can oversee the financial reporting & compliance. 

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
* Production of accurate group consolidated monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow statement) in line with deadlines
* Working closely with the Head of Finance to support in building out robust processes; including banking, intercompany and VAT
* Responsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for all companies
* Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements.
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with deadlines
* Ensure all financial reporting complies with IFRS and GAAP
* Prepare and submit regulatory filings and ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including tax filings and statutory accounts
* Coordinate and manage group audit
* Manage P&L, balance sheet and cashflow forecasting
* Act as a key point of contact for financial reporting and compliance matters, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Person specification:
* ACA/ACCA Qualified 
* Audit background
* Possess strong numeracy and analytical skills, supported by excellent technical skills.
* Strong excel skills
