We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Home Manager to oversee the provision of our children’s home in the Greater Manchester area. The successful candidate will ensure that the home meets OFSTED inspection standards and delivers high-quality support to achieve positive outcomes for the children and young people in our care.
Day to Day of the role: * Ensure the Children’s Home meets required inspection standards under OFSTED and complies with the Children’s Homes Regulations (2015).
* Work to achieve positive outcomes through the delivery of high-quality support.
* Collaborate with the CQC Registered Manager, Head of Operations, and Director of Social Care to review, monitor, and plan residential services, focusing on improvement plans and strategic direction.
* Support staff in enabling children and young people to achieve learning outcomes tailored to their specific needs.
* Facilitate participation in a range of enjoyable activities for the children and young people.
* Uphold the principles of privacy, dignity, and respect as integral parts of the support offered.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * NVQ level 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
* Willingness to register as a manager with OFSTED.
* Knowledge of care standards and the requirements of OFSTED.
* Proven experience in managing or leading a team.
* Full manual driving license.
