Job Description:
A global investment management firm are looking to hire an experienced HR Advisor to join their fast-growing London office on a standalone basis. The HR Advisor will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, payroll processes, and daily HR administrative tasks. This is a fixed term contract for one year which, for the right candidate, could become permanent.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
* Working with compliance to ensure the company meets its obligations
* Developing programmes that enhance employee relations
* Ensuring employees have correct pay and benefits (holiday, sick and maternity pay)
* Delivering compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team
* Promoting equality, health and safety within the company
* Ensuring that company employment policies follow national laws and regulations
* Recording and processing confidential information
* Recording payroll data in the company’s software system
* Issuing P45s and other necessary tax forms
* Answering employee questions about payroll
* Maintaining compliant policies and procedures
* Deducting tax and national insurance payments
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role within financial services is essential
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient in MS Office applications, predominantly Excel
* Ability to prioritise work effectively.
* BSc or relevant degree preferred.
* Strong knowledge of HR legal requirements.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication skills
