Job Description:
My client are a niche, specialist freight forwarder looking for an experienced FINE ART INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS MANAGER to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, leading company! You MUST have previous experience overseeing a team in an Import or Exports dealing with High value goods.
You will be overseeing a team and daily duties will include:
* Managing incoming customer requests including shipping quotations
* Pricing
* Monitoring customer shipments pro-actively provided updates
* Handling customer queries
* Developing customer relationships and maintaining VIP key accounts
* Distributing work load
* Providing junior staff with assistance
* Conducting regular 1:1 sessions with the team
* Design and improve client specific processes and SOPs to maximise efficiency
* Develop and monitor KPI’s
* Liaising with warehouse team and relevant logistical parties including collection and packing
* Working on local and global projects
Experience needed:
* You MUST have a minimum of 3years experience in an Operations client facing role
* Experience working with large international auction houses or art galleries is a huge advantage
* Minimum of 2 years experience overseeing a team at supervisory or managerial level
Working hours:
* Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
