Position: Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer
Organisation: East Anglia based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months +
Working Hours: Full Time but will consider 4 days per week
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working with Court Attendance when required
Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and will have a broad working understanding of civil litigation law to deal with a varied caseload.

You will be managing a diverse caseload of Civil Litigation matters to include but not limited to Housing matters including homelessness, Debt Recovery, judicial reviews and potentially be able to cover advocacy for SJP prosecution matters in the Magistrates (Non-school attendance, fly tipping etc), and general litigation advice across service areas on behalf of the Council.
This position has an attractive rate of up to £55 per hour Umbrella dependent on experience.
