A Claims Handler is sought to join our Customer Service department, where the main tasks will involve processing insurance claims, ensuring a swift and fair process for customers in Manchester.

Description
* Evaluate insurance claims and make decisions based on policy terms and conditions.
* Maintain communication with policyholders, keeping them informed of claim progress.
* Work closely with the team to ensure efficient processing of claims.
* Update and maintain accurate records of each claim.
* Handle queries related to claims from both internal and external customers.
* Understand and adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
* Continually strive to improve service delivery in the Claims department.
* Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and capabilities.
Profile
A successful Claims Handler should have:
* Proficient skills in customer service and communication.
* Ability to work well within a team and independently.
* Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
* A detail-oriented approach and excellent organisational skills.
* Strong knowledge of insurance policies and industry regulations.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
