MY clients a well-established, growing Fine ART Logistics company are seeking an experienced Transport Manager!
* Efficiently managing a team of drivers making sure they comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations
* Dealing with customer’s requests via phone and mail, arranging quotation and collections/deliveries for UK and Europe by road freight.
* Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained
* Arranging collections/deliveries for the UK by road freight
* Overseeing the collection/delivery time of goods, maintaining delivery schedules and tracking the fleet of vehicles, ensuring customer’s requirements are met
* Keeping a record of the documents related to the bookings
* Working closely with the Warehouse Manager in order to guarantee and keep records of in and out goods
Skills required:
* Fine Art experience required
* Experience within a supervisory / management role
* Good understanding of current transportation and H&S regulations
* Freight forwarding experience
* Have excellent customer service experience
* Route planning experience
* PC literate
Working hours:
* Monday- Friday
