Job Description:

I am assisting a client based in Thirsk who is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator/Administrator to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. The role requires 15 hours per week, covering Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
As the successful candidate you will manage the purchasing of materials and consumables on a weekly basis, whilst providing administrative
Responsibilities and skills required:
* Read Job Sheets scheduled for production
* Create a ’shopping list’ of necessary materials
* Order materials from designated suppliers
* Liaise with suppliers regarding lead times, stock levels, and delivery dates to ensure timely arrival for production
* Conscientious and organised
* Good negotiating skills
* Friendly and professional manner for regular supplier interactions
* Previous purchasing experience would be advantageous but not essential
