We are working exclusively with an educational establishment in Bury, who are looking to secure the services of an outstanding learning support assistant. This particular role is to support the needs of students with SEN, who may display low-level challenging behaviours and can become disengaged from learning quite quickly. You must be comfortable with EBD/SEMH. To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient and overall, have a good sense of humour. . . This post is to start in September and will continue on a full time basis until the end of the academic year in July. We do require applicants to be able to commit to the role in its entirety. . . Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference) . Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided) . Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) .
