Role Overview

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering alongside a highly reputable and well known organisation based in Central Manchester who are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team. In a newly created role, you will hold a purely commercial position, supporting the Head of Commercial Finance and gain a central view of the whole business, handing financial results, budgets & forecasts and tasked with driving efficiencies and commercial projects.

Ideal candidates will have come from a Management Accounts setting and have begun to pursue a career in commercial finance. You will possess excellent analytical skills and be highly proficient on Microsoft Excel.

You will also be a driven individual, eager to continually develop and gain exposure to a fast moving and changing finance environment.

Location: Leeds or York with travel between offices

Salary: up to £60,000 +1.5 times pension contribution, enhanced paternity/ maternity leave, employee discount and benefits.

Responsibilities
* Accurately consolidate KPI and financial information each period end.
* Present detailed budgets and forecasts to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
* Take the lead in reporting improvement to improve efficiencies across the team.
* Develop a deep routed understanding of the business to identify opportunities to drive better decisions at a senior level.
* Act as a business partner for central finance as new initiatives appear.
Person Specification:
* Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, acting as a partner for various stakeholders.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
