History teacher - Bolton - September . . A dedicated and passionate History Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Bolton, to join them on a full time basis for 12 months, teaching key stage 3 & 4 from September, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full time basis. . . This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced History teachers. . . You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. In a department with well sequenced learning, with clear links to their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way. . . Minimum rate of pay from GBP153.85 per day . . Hours 8:30am 4pm . . EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: . . Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related) . . Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths . . Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) . . Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) . . Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) . . Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) . . Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided). . . TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: . . Hold Right to Work in the UK . . Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.80. . .
