Position: Teacher
Location: SEN/SEMH Schools in Lambeth, London
Pay:
* Temporary: £140 - £240 per day (dependent on experience, location, and school)
* Permanent: Based on your payscale, to be discussed with the hiring school directly
Are you a dedicated and experienced teacher passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health challenges? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Lambeth, London. This role offers flexibility, with both temporary and permanent positions available based on your preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to students with a range of additional needs.
* Develop and adapt teaching materials to cater to individual learning styles and requirements.
* Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student growth and development.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to meet the needs of each student.
* Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the students’ education.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven experience working with SEN or SEMH students.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
