Job Description:
Elevation Senior Finance are excited to be partnering with a leading financial services business, based in Leeds as they look to recruit a Projects Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Projects Management Accountant will include:
* Prepare or support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting
* Prepare, analyse and reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
* Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
* Conduct financial modelling to predict future financial performance
* Intercompany reconciliations, both P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
* Investigating and correcting imbalances
* Flagging differences to budget to the relevant stakeholders
* Liaising with Treasury/AP/AR teams to ensure timely payments are made and are allocated appropriately
* Support internal and external group and statutory audits
* Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts by working with stakeholders and managers
* Identify relevant and beneficial best practice from internal and external sources
* Support implementation of new technologies to streamline financial operations
Key Skills & Experience:
* Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) – exams and experience complete
* Experience of working in a financial reporting environment in a medium-sized or large organisation
* Proven ability to manage own workload to ensure that activities are correctly prioritised 
* Strong knowledge of management and financial accounting principles 
* Detailed knowledge of the main Microsoft applications
* Experience of working within the Financial sector (preferable)
