Role: Senior Children’s Support Worker
Salary: Up to £34,714.99 per annum (Inclusive of sleep in payments)
Location: Underley Garden School, Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week - There is a 2 week rolling rota 
Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle, plus the right to work in the UK

The Opportunity
Our next Senior Children’s Support Worker will be someone who has: 
* Mandatory: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ equivalent
* Full UK Driving Licence
* A big heart and passion to make a difference to the occupants’ lives.
* Patience, resilience, and calmness.
Some of your duties would include:
* Chaperoning occupants to appointments and activities
* Completing relevant paperwork
* Household tasks
* Administering medication
* Lead, train and develop new and existing support workers within your team
* Helping the deputy manager to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team
The Location
We are hiring Senior Care Workers for Underley Garden School which is an Independent Special School and Accommodation based near the village of Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria, providing support for individuals between the ages of 5-19.  The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in April 2022. The residential provision also received an Outstanding judgement in all areas in February 2024!
