Job Description:
** GRADUATE SCHEME - TRAINEE FINANCIAL PLANNER **
** LOCATION : LEICESTER ** HYBRID AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF SCHEME **
** STARTING SALARY 30,000 ** ONCE PROGRAMME IS COMPLETE £40,000 **
** Applicants must have a full, clean UK driving license and also must clear DBS checks **
** ASSESSMENT DAYS - 23rd & 24th August **

NJR Recruitment are working exclusively and in Partnership with a National Firm of Independent Financial Planners who are currently recruiting for highly motivated individuals to join the December 2023 intake of their 12-month Wealth Management Consultant training programme, which will include undertaking the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
This is a hybrid role with, the successful applicants* expected to work from the Leicester office for the first 12 months, after which you may work on a flexible/hybrid basis.
An exciting opportunity for driven and entrepreneurial individuals to join one of the leading Wealth Managers in the UK. With offices nationwide, our Client is offering a rare opportunity to join their growing team of successful Wealth Management Consultants. To be successful candidates will have;
" An entrepreneurial mindset and be prepared to invest in themselves
" Experience or desire to work in a target driven environment
" Well-spoken and confident dealing with a wide range of individuals including clients and other professionals
" Strong communication and closing skills
To apply for the role candidates should be/have;
" Qualified to a degree level or equivalent
" 18 months + experience within a Financial Services environment - those from Product providers, Pension Administrators, Banking or an IFA background
" Commitment to joining a progressive development programme
" Genuine interest in financial planning and wealth management
" Excellent literacy and numeracy skills with copy accuracy
" Confident manner and an ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
THE TRAINING SCHEDULE - Each trainee will go through the training programme with a number of like-minded individuals and receive learning and support from within the business. This will include the alignment to a mentor who will provide them with relevant guidance during the programme and upon successful completion.
The programme will involve:
" Completion of the RO Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning across twelve months
" Focused learning syllabus covering all aspects of the advice process and specialist topics
" Emphasis on technical training on a wide range of subjects
" Attendance at business unit sales meetings
" Attendance at client meetings through shadowing of wealth management consultants
" You will be embedded within our advice process framework including paraplanning and client facing activities/work
" Completion of monthly assignments within the designated deadlines, to a high standard
" Provision of support to the consultancy team, assisting with projects and compliance matters as required
