Job Description:
Financial Controller
Global Hospitality Brand
£70,000 - £80,000 + up to 20% bonus and benefits
Central London
Hybrid (3 days pw office / 2 days wfh pw)
Job Purpose
Provide high quality financial information coupled with insight and analysis to support and challenge the business in achieving its growth and performance targets.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare month end financials in timely and accurate manner. This includes ownership of All P&L lines and balance sheet accounts.
* Manage a team to perform and deliver whilst developing the individuals within the team.
* Perform monthly analysis (incorporating trends and non-financial information) to provide insight which enables finance to support and challenge the operational teams.
* Work with operations team to drive actions that support the business in achieving its targets.
* Assist in preparation of quarterly board reporting.
* Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency of our financial processes and seek ways to add more value.
* Produce forecasts and budgets for key lines in conjunction with operations team and wider finance team.
* Support in the set up of new sites, tracking of capital spend and measurement of subsequent performance and return on investment.
* Manage the audit to ensure efficient and clean audit process across the business.
* Support implementation and improvement of system projects.
* Perform Ad-hoc analysis as and when required to support business.
* Provide information to corporate team and complete fiscal reporting as required.
* External stakeholder reporting such as Franchise and financial institutions.
* Completion of annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Ensure all finance and cash controls are robust and adhered to.
* Production of balance sheet and supplier statement reconciliations.
* Submission of quarterly VAT returns.
About You:
* ACA / CIMA / ACCA Qualified Accountant
* Show real passion, energy and excitement for supporting our business in reaching its growth aspirations.
* Must enjoy problem solving and setting up new processes. Strong experience in implementing controls and processes around month end and increasing the efficiency of close.
* Experience of managing professional qualified individuals with proven track record of developing people

* Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate professionally to all levels and functions of an organisation.
